Speaker: Dr. Abdullah Chahin
We were honored to have Dr. Abdullah Chahin speak with us.
He talked about the disparities being seen in the COVID-19 vaccine distribution. Dr. Chahin is a physician triple boarded in Internal medicine, Infectious Diseases, and critical care medicine. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. Dr. Chahin is also a board member of Amnesty International USA since 2017. His main research interests include the effect of armed conflicts on global health. His other scholarly interests are sepsis physiology and the role of immune modulation in treating septic shock. He also works on big data research and machine learning in Medicine.
